Carrier Family photo album
This album contains photographs of the Carrier family, Smith family, Galeener family, and the Everhart family. These are possibly extended family of the Carriers or married names. Pictures depict individuals as well as houses and landscape in Urbana, Illinois, and Pasadena, California. There are several photos of the 1913 Lafayette flood and one of the Purdue tank painted after a scrap.

This collection would be very valuable to anyone interested in student life at Purdue University during the early 20th century or the Purdue Military Band.

James M. Johnson papers
The James M. Johnson papers document the career of pilot James Johnson (Jimmy Johnson) and his colleagues in early flight and aviation training. Most of the collection is made up of photographs. There are also newspaper clippings and three pilot's log books. The photographs show Johnson individually, Johnson standing with colleagues, Johnson in or near airplanes, and airplanes individually. Many of the photographs were taken at McCook Field in Dayton, Ohio.

The Glennard Miller scrapbook contains 24 pages of photographs affixed to black paper documenting student life at Purdue in the late 1910s and early 1920s. Images include campus scenes, student activities, sporting events, military band, and steam engine lab, as well as photographs documenting the incident of Harry Weinshank being run off campus by his classmates for repeatedly impersonating a military officer.

The Charles C. Roberts photographs (1946-1949; 0.25 cubic feet) documents Roberts’ student and family life as a student at Purdue University from 1946-1949. Included in the collection are photographs of campus buildings such as Cary Quad, Purdue Memorial Union, Hovde Hall and Heavilon Hall. Also included in the collection are photographs of students wearing the Senior Cords. Among the photographs are images of Roberts' family and home life.
