Scope and Contents Illuminated Book of Hours on vellum, in Latin and French, most likely created in Northern France c. 1470. 138 leaves with flyleaves at front and back. Vellum throughout, trimmed to 42 X 102 mm, which omits quire markings. FH’HF. Faint red rule marks present on Calendar pages. Calendar and prayers in single column format with 14 lines in a fine late gothic bookhand, handwritten prayers in a combination of Latin and French.
