Biographical Information

Charles Robert Brouse, son of Olin R. and Lillian Utter Brouse, was born on the 26th of April, 1892, in Rockford, Illinois. He was finishing his senior year in the School of Electrical Engineering at Purdue University when war was declared in May 1917. He was commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant and served in the World War in Europe in the Coast Artillery Corps from May 1917 to January 1919. He was honorably discharged from military service on the 22nd of January 1919. He died in Greeley, Colorado.
