Includes seven boxes of materials created and collected by Dr. Connie M. Weaver throughout her education and career in the field of food and nutrition science. The materials include records in both paper and electronic format are primarily records from corporate affiliate events and symposia held by Dr. Weaver, newspaper clippings about her research, awards and medal she received during her career, professional photographs, as well as cartoon drawings depicting Connie Weaver as a working mother, and one of her first chemistry books, titled "Modern Principles of Organic Chemistry" (1969). The contents of the materials primarily relate to Dr. Weaver's research on women's health, food and nutrition, botanicals, age-related diseases, diet, and the effects of calcium. Digital media includes 2 videocassettes, 1 floppy disk, 1 zip disk, and approximately 50 optical disks. Digital media also includes a born digital video of NUTR 695 lecture which was web archive before we obtain the raw file for preservation
