Biographical Information

Leroy C. Glass was born 18 November 1893 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Glass received his BSA in 1921 from Purdue University. While at Purdue he was active in Les Voyageurs, Agriculture Society, Educational Club, and the Pirathon. He taught at Weatherfield High School 1921-1922 in Kewanee, Illinois, before returning to school to earn his MS in 1923 from the University of Wisconsin. He was professionally active in the Phi Delta Kappa Society.

Glass also served in the US Army spending five months in the USA, seven months in France, and eight months in other countries with Battery B, 77th F.A., 4th Division.
