Biography

James (Jim) Wilson was the former managing editor of the Burlington Free Press in Burlington, Vermont, as well as long-time owner of the Northfield News in Northfield, Vermont. Born on November 11th, 1946 in Logansport, Indiana, Wilson graduated from Purdue University in 1968 with a degree in political science and French, where he was a TA in French and a photographer for the Exponent. Wilson died of brain cancer on January 9th, 2009 at the age of 62 in Northfield, Vermont.
