Historical Information

Yue-Kong Pao Hall of Visual and Performing Arts was built in two phases. The building was opened after phase one was completed in 2003, and phase two began in 2004. Inside the building is a small practice theater, a music education classroom, as flexible studio theater, acting labs, supporting spaces, and a major 300-seat theater that replaced the facility in the basement of the Stewart Center. The building brings together art and design, dance, music, and theater and serves nearly 800 undergraduate majors.
