Materials relating to Purdue University's involvement in the Formosa Taiwan project. Relates to work Professor R. Norris Shreve and others at Purdue were involved in to expand curricular offerings, particularly in engineering, in Taiwan. Scope and Contents Includes a complete run of The Purdue student newspaper of the 1880s, which ran from 1882-1888. A total of 54 issues appear in the collection, separated into six volumes. Volume 1 has eight issues, published monthly from November 1882 until June 1883. Volumes 2 through 6 have nine issues each, published monthly from October to June. World's Fair Purdue Alumni Registers collection

The World's Fair Purdue Alumni Registers collection contains three registers from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition, Panama Pacific International Exposition, and Century of Progress World's Fair showcases. Alumni that visited the fairs were encouraged to sign the registers. Notable signatures include Eulora Miller, Purdue's first female graduate, in the Panama Pacific register and President Theodore Roosevelt in the Louisiana Purchase Exposition register.

Robert Wray glass negatives

Scope and Contents

The Robert Wray glass negatives documents life during the World War I era. The glass negatives feature Purdue University and time spent in France during World War I. It also features a mansion, lake-house, and images of family life. Due to lack of documentation, no individuals or buildings are currently identified in the negatives. The collection includes 63 glass negatives and four original packages designed for glass negatives.
