Biographical Information

Robert T. Hatt was a member of the Purdue University Class of 1923, though records do not indicate that he graduated from Purdue. He was a member of Phi Kappa Psi. His father was William Kendrick Hatt, a Professor of Civil Engineering at Purdue.

Hatt graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science degree and from Columbia with master's and doctoroal degrees. He was Director of the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield, Michigan from 1935-1967.

Scope and Contents The Robert T. Hatt scrapbook contains many photographs of campus life, predominantly during 1919-1920. There is a concentration of memorabilia from Phi Kappa Psi due to Hatt's membership within that fraternity. The scrapbook also contains newspaper clippings, along with ephemera, such as programs, ticket stubs, and other assorted odds and ends.
