Biographical Information

Emanuel Weiler, known as Manny or Em, graduated from DePauw University with his A. B. degree and earned his M.A. and Ph. D. degrees from University of Minnesota. He served as an instructor at the University of Minnesota, the head of the Department of Economics at Ohio Wesleyan University, professor of ecomonics at University of Illinois, head of the Department of Economics in the School of Science, Education and Humanities at Purdue University, head of the Department of Industrial Management and Transportation at Purdue, Dean of Krannert School of Industrial Administration at Purdue, and Krannert Distinguished Professor of Economics and Managment at Purdue.
